2010 -

"Tomioka Cleaning" in Nakashibetsu, Hokkaido opened its doors as a kimono cleaning shop and has now been in business for over 70 years.

Continuing our long-running work to be thoughtful of nature and health by improving drainage, detergent, and other aspects of cleaning, our well-established store is beloved by the local community.

In 2011 we began rebranding as a variety shop that makes recommendations using our knowledge as cleaning professionals. We aim to be a one-stop cleaning shop for all of your clothing concerns.

Since our rebranding in 2011, as we gradually developed original products such as powdered detergents and miscellaneous goods, the need arose once again to clarify our brand direction and tidy up our image.

In addition to our showcase powdered detergent, in 2021 we followed up with a lineup of Tomioka Cleaning liquid detergents, which can be used safely with colored items, special materials, and children’s clothing.

While Tomioka Cleaning's pure white brand image and clean appearance will maintain a common identity for all of our products, we will use a packaging system as we add other products beyond detergent that will both be visible and show the differences between each product series.
